As the grassroots partner for the Community Resource Efficiency Hub or CREhub developed under global Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)’s SmartVillage programme, CRC supports 25 women-led small enterprises, that include approximately 100 women, spread over more than fourteen panchayats, all of which are located around the climate vulnerable fringes of Kochi.
The CREHub provides support for infrastructure, transportation, branding, marketing, and capacity-building, all of which are built on off-the-grid solutions aimed at building long-term energy and livelihood resilience.
